The aim of the workshop is to build a clear understanding of Electronic Government concepts, explain the principles and practice in Electronic Government planning, implementation and transformation, and present and discuss opportunities and challenges for Electronic Government development in Jordan.
The audience will include senior government officials responsible for planning, executing and managing technology-related programs in their ministries and agencies.
Expected outputs are increased awareness of Electronic Government among decision makers and public managers; recognition of opportunities, challenges and a common vision for Electronic Government development in Jordan; and building an expert-practitioner network to provide bottom-up support for implementing this vision.
