Dr. Tomasz Janowski, UNU-IIST Senior Research Fellows and Head of the Center for Electronic Governance, presented a lecture "Introduction to Electronic Government" for a group of cadets from Macao Public Security Academy. The lecture introduced the concept, benefits, challenges and implementation issues related to the implementation of Electronic Government. A discussion focused on the role of police force in utilizing Electronic Government to address cyber security and privacy-related threats. The lecture was part of a course conducted by Dr. Bryan Ho from the Department of Government and Public Administration, University of Macau.
