ICEGOV is a series of International Conferences on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance, organized by United Nations University and focusing on the use of technology to transform relationships between government and its customers – citizens, businesses, and other arms of government (Electronic Governance), beyond the traditional focus on technology-enabled transformation in government (Electronic Government). This paper presents the whole conference series, and documents in detail the second edition of the conference - ICEGOV2008, which took place in Cairo, Egypt during 1-4 December 2008.
