The Strategic IT Planning for Public Organizations course is an IT strategic planning course aimed at building IT strategic planning capacity of public sector organizations for Electronic Governance development in particular and maximizing public value from public sector IT investments in general. It is presented in four modules covering (1) Introduction and Concepts, (2) Models and Techniques, (3) IT Strategy Process and (4) Tools for IT strategic planning. It is based on the strategic planning toolkit 'Strategic IT Planning for Public Sector Organizations: A Toolkit' and is supported by a Strategy Management System developed by the Center for Electronic Governance at UNU-IIST.
