The e-Queuing Service, developed as part of the software infrastructure for Electronic Government, enables government agencies to define the services for which queuing tickets are required, the locations where interactions will take place, and non-working days for serving their customers; and allows citizens to electronically get and cancel a queuing ticket through the Internet. In addition, the system reminds citizens when their ticket number will be called forward and allows them to track the queue status.
